Unarmed Security Officer - West Houston 77084

We're looking for a full time or part time security officer (your choice of hours), with valid Texas noncommissioned license or Level 2 certificate, to work MONDAY TO FRIDAY 10pm-6am (OVERNIGHT). $14.00 per hour, and SATURDAY-SUNDAY, 2:30 PM-10:30PM, plus $1.00 to use your own vehicle, $15.00 per hour. Must have a decent vehicle, a working smart phone, and leadership skills to work independently.

Location: Apartment Community in 77084.

Responsibilities:

• Perform access controls at gates.
• Foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Requirements:

• Level II Uncommssioned Texas Security Certification is required or registered as a Security Guard in Texas DPS

• Previous experience in Security preferred

• Strong customer service

• Phone with space to download apps

• Vehicle (we will give you magnets and lights).
• Tech-savvy with experience in electronic report writing.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Must have reliable transportation and a working smart phone.
