Unarmed guards rely on observation skills, communication, and de-escalation techniques to handle security issues. They may work in various settings, including retail stores, office buildings, schools, and residential communities. Their presence helps deter crime and ensure a safe environment.

What are some common challenges faced by unarmed security officers and how can they be effectively managed?
