Vitalis Security combines intelligent video analytics, access control, environmental management, and monitored alarms into a single easy to use platform. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Central Security Manager to join our dynamic team.
Shift: rotating evening/overnight shifts (4pm-11pm; 11pm-8am).
What You Will Do:
  • Lead, schedule and mentor a team of SOC analysts.
  • Oversees daily SOC operations ensuring 24/7 monitoring coverage and adherence to response times.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct ongoing training, quality assurance reviews and performance evaluations for SOC staff.
  • Monitor performance metrics and produce regular operational reports for senior leadership.
  • Lead investigation of security incidents, ensuring thorough documentation, root cause analysis and timely resolution.
  • Manage vendor and platform relationships relevant to monitoring and security operations.
  • Develop and deliver customer analytic packages, providing clients with actionable insights into alarm activity, response trends, and system performance.
  • Serve as a senior technical resource for customer escalation involving platform integrations, camera systems, and alarm monitoring.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple platforms.
  • Troubleshoot camera system connectivity, configuration, and video quality issues.

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Three years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Two years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Demonstrated technical troubleshooting skills with alarm/video system integrations and IP camera systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Professional certifications such as CPP, CSSA, PSP, or relevant certification in security operations and surveillance are a plus.
