Location: GLOBAL OPS has full-time and part-time work opportunities throughout Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time | In Person

Required: Armed Security Credentials

Anyone interested in an Armed Security Guard position must possess the following:

• A valid New York State Armed Security Guard License

• AND either:

  • A valid unrestricted New York State pistol permit, or

  • A valid New York State Yellow Carry Card, which allows individuals with pistol permits to legally work in an armed capacity

We're seeking experienced Armed Security Guards to support client locations throughout Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. This is an active, highly visible role for professionals who remain alert, exercise sound judgment, and take pride in representing themselves and their company with professionalism.

This is not a static post. Approximately 60–70% of your shift will be spent outdoors conducting foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents as they arise. Every shift presents new challenges, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy staying engaged and making a meaningful impact.

Assignments are available throughout Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. Placement will be based on operational needs, client assignments, and business requirements.

We're looking for armed security professionals who understand that exceptional security begins with preparation, vigilance, sound judgment, and outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do

• Conduct proactive foot patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment

• Maintain a highly visible security presence

• Monitor and control access to client properties

• Identify, assess, and respond appropriately to suspicious activity

• Enforce site policies and security procedures

• Respond professionally to alarms, emergencies, and critical incidents

• Assist employees, visitors, and clients with professionalism and courtesy

• Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State Armed Security Guard License

• Valid unrestricted New York State pistol permit or New York State Yellow Carry Card

• Ability to work assignments in Manhattan, Queens, or Brooklyn

• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions

• Excellent observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

• Professional appearance with a strong customer-service mindset

• Proven reliability and strong work ethic

• High school diploma or GED

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to successfully complete all required screenings and pre-employment training

Compensation

• Armed Security Guard: $28.00 per hour

• Armed Security Guard Special Events: $30.00 per hour
