Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant with expertise in Sage Timberline to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in construction, manufacturing, or warehousing industries, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
- Utilize Sage Timberline software to maintain financial records, generate reports, and streamline accounting processes.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and financial statements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and support decision-making.
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews, providing necessary documentation and assistance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or warehousing industries.
- Proficiency in Sage Timberline software is required.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
