QA Inspector

Location: On-site (Valencia, CA)

Type: Full-time, non-exempt, First shift

Salary: $26-27/hour

Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description:

H2scan is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector (first shift) to join our team and help develop advanced solutions for new high-tech markets. We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter and takes ownership of their assignments. If you enjoy dynamic work environments, have excellent creative problem-solving skills, and are able to work independently and collaboratively, then this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

· Receiving inspection of purchased parts

· Conduct in-process inspection

· Complete all aspects of final inspection

· Continuous improvement activities

· Documenting nonconforming product

· Processing corrective/preventative actions

· Assist in inventory and ERP system maintenance to meet quality objectives

Qualifications:

· High School graduate

· 2+ years of hands-on experience in an electro-manufacturing environment

· ISO9001, AS9100 or similar background

· Accurate use of precision measuring devices including calipers, micrometers, ring, plug, and pin gages.

· Knowledgeable about quality control for electronics manufacturing

· Able to communicate in oral and written form

· Good decision-making skills

· Attention to detail

· Basic computer competency

· ERP system utilization

· Physical Requirements: capable of operating necessary inspection and testing equipment; able to lift up to 50 lbs
