*This is a fully remote position but must reside in DC, MD or VA.

The Manager, Virtual R&P, is a leader in USCCB’s new Virtual Resettlement segment. The segment provides virtual Reception and Placement case management support and direct assistance to refugees and SIV’s resettling with U.S. ties who will provide housing. The Manager, Virtual R&P supervises 5 Virtual Case Managers, providing supervision and support in all aspects of service delivery. The position oversees the US Tie verification and case assignment processes and monitors the delivery of virtual R&P services.

The position must demonstrate willingness and ability to understand, respect and contribute to the USCCB mission and to fulfill job duties in accordance with its Catholic identity. This position can work remotely, but the candidate must live in Maryland, DC or Virginia.

Ensures adequate staffing to meet program objectives

•Hires and trains Virtual Case Managers

•Contributes to the development of training modules

Provides leadership and ongoing day-to day management for the Virtual Resettlement Team

•Monitors caseloads, assigns cases to Virtual Case Managers based on caseload, resettlement location and language ability

•Works with Virtual Case Managers to verify that US Ties can provide housing and initial support before assuring cases

•Laisses with USCCB Processing Unit for all pre-arrival and travel issues

•Provides service delivery technical assistance to Virtual Case Managers, assists with troubleshooting challenging situations and responding to client concerns

•Partners with the Resource Coordinator to identify and create needed resources used by Virtual R&P Case Managers and clients

Monitors Service Provision

•Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, review case files and collect client feedback as outlined in

•Regularly contributes to grant reporting

Level: Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree preferred.

Major Field/Specialty: Public/Business Administration, Public Policy, Computer Technology, Social Sciences or related fields.

Number of years Required: 5-10 years of directly related experience preferred
