Our Chester County client is seeking a dependable Administrative Clerk to organize and prepare paper documents for shredding and scanning and to organize electronic files.
A day in the life of an Administrative Clerk
- Identify and organize paper documents by person, date, and type according to verbal and written instructions.
- Sort documents into scan and shred categories and package for scanning or shredding.
- Locate, name, and save electronic documents into electronic folders.
- Other duties related to paper and electronic filing as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements for the Administrative Clerk position
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Basic spelling, grammar, and math skills.
- Ability to collect and organize information for reports.
- Ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret written information.
- Strong organizational skills. Accurate and detail oriented.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and handle confidential matters.
- Ability to use standard office machines (fax, copier, calculator, scanner, laptop, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
