Job Description
Adult day care center seeking an RN Educator!
40 hours/week; Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
Qualifications:
- Active RN Licensure in the state of NY
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Education required, Master's preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a high-level training manager
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing personnel
- Knowledge of home care, PACE, or other healthcare-related programs
Responsibilities:
- Oversees education programs and staff development by providing mentorship, professional support, and professional development.
- Establishes and conducts New Hire Orientation (NHO) and continuing training programs according to PACE regulatory requirements and staff scope of practice in preparation for their assigned roles.
- Assist staff, as needed, to determine areas requiring immediate remediation and resolve inconsistencies.
- Supports staff, interns, apprentices, and volunteer orientation and ongoing in-service education as requested.
- Oversees, evaluates, and ensures the effectiveness of all educators and trainers to guarantee that training goals are met, and staff receives a best-in-class education experience.
