CNC Technician I

Job Summary: The CNC technician is vital to JEM America's production operations by manufacturing parts and fixtures to support the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
· Edit programs, setup and operate CNC and milling machines
· Assist with production tooling per the company’s standard process
· Assist with the established calibration process
· Troubleshoot production issues and initiate changes
· Counter-bore PCB per production request using TRAK CNC Machine and NC Impact System 2
· Cut ceramic for stockroom using laser cut machine
· Preventive maintenance on CNC ROKU Micro Drill Machines
· Maintenance controlled temperature room for ROKU CNC Machines
· Glue rings to printed circuit boards
· The supervisor may assign other duties
Qualifications:
· At least 2 years of CNC experience or Machine Tool Technology, CNC Machining, or equivalent certificate program
· High school diploma or GED. Associate of science degree or some college courses are preferred
· Knowledge of the production process
· Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
· Read and understand blueprints, assembly drawings, and bill of materials
· Knowledge of any CADCAM software, but Surfcam is preferred
· Good oral and written communication skills
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
