Position Description

Machinery Systems, Inc. a leading Midwest CNC machine tool distributor with a 49-year history is seeking a CNC Field service technician.

The Field Service Technician will travel to customer locations primarily throughout Illinois and Indiana, while also traveling to our Wisconsin and Western Michigan customers from time-to-time. The Field Service Technician's primary responsibilities will be to troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical aspects of a wide range of Mazak standard machine tool products.

Requirements

  • · Preferred minimum of 2 years in a machine tool repair position with an end user, distributor or builder of CNC machines or similar experience. MSI is willing to work with and train prospective candidates that possess strong mechanical skills/aptitude and have a willingness to learn.

· Strong problem solving skills with excellent knowledge of both mechanical and electrical areas of repair of CNC machine tools or related fields.

· Must be a highly motivated self-starter and possess a good work ethic.

· A strong customer service orientation, flexible to adjust to customer demands and have effective communication skills

· Must hold and maintain an unrestricted driver’s license
