Job Description

We are currently conducting interviews for a Physician Assistant full-time position, no experience required. Below you will find a little more information about our position in case you are interested in learning more about it.

This position will be supervised by a licensed, Board Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician. The physician assistant will provide acute and comprehensive rehabilitation medical care with a multidisciplinary team approach. The primary responsibility of this position is to gather medical information relating to the current status of the patient, obtain vitals, write scripts for physician, review and/or request labs, medication, diagnostics, etc. as indicated by physician and document the chart appropriately and consistently as directed by physician. Round on inpatients in a setting of a Rehabilitation Hospital (dedicated to acute Comprehensive rehabilitation services), acute care hospital and long-term acute care. Physician Assistant will be able to perform history and Physical examination of admissions (H&P dictation), discharge summaries and rounding notes.
