The Sales Coordinator maintains equipment orders and stock by ordering and invoicing equipment, preparing equipment for delivery, maintaining stock on yard, and maintaining files of equipment order. 
 
Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner
 
Essential Job Duties: 
 
1. Orders, Tracks, and Invoices Equipment
by
receiving requests for orders
verifying appropriate orders
placing orders for equipment from various vendors
tracking orders as they progress to delivery
arranging trucking
arranging all prep work on new units
arranging delivery to customer location
coordinating financing paperwork with financing coordinator
invoicing equipment order
maintaining record of order and invoice
following up on all equipment orders
 
2. Maintains Stock on Yard
by
knowing equipment status - demo, sold, etc.
working with salesmen to verify stock status
transferring equipment to rental as necessary
maintaining equipment inventory on yard
preparing stock orders as directed by sales and rental managers
 
3. Maintains Adequate Files of Equipment Order
by
preparing file for new order
approving all invoices using proper accounting coding
assuring that all necessary information is placed in file
preparing costing reports on each transaction
filing when order is completed
 
Other Duties:
 
1.Assists Other Departments
by
providing information regarding equipment stock status
providing information regarding equipment order
 

Qualifications:
Required Skills/Experience

Minimum 1 year of clerical experience
Advanced office & computer skills
Strong oral & written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and efficiently managing time and organization
High degree of accuracy /Attention to Detail
Ability to work with fellow employees and vendors
 
Education
College Degree Preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
 
Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions
This position spends a majority of time in an indoor office environment with a controlled climate and occasionally will work in a warehouse environment with exposure to heat and cold.
This position requires sitting at a computer desk for long periods of time with constant use of a computer keyboard while reading the computer screen.
This position will continuously talk, hear, and read in verbal and written communication. And will occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
This position will continuously use hands to type.
This position may be required to climb on equipment to verify identification and spec information.
