Job Description
Salary: $40,000 - $45,000

Position Summary: Sisu offers shelter and case management support to youth and young adults ages 15-24 experiencing homelessness. The Atlas Program Manager will oversee the Atlas supportive housing program including all staff supervision and client care. The Atlas Program Manager is responsible for training, guiding service delivery, delegating tasks, calendar management, and other tasks as assigned by the Program and Clinical Director. Employment, compensation, and position continuation are subject to the grant funding provisions.


The Atlas Program Manager is an exempt employee and reports to the Program and Clinical Director. 


Essential Functions:

  • Provide daily oversight to the Atlas staff and serve as the main point of contact; responsible for all communication and the collection and dissemination of information to staff and clients
  • Consult weekly with the Atlas case manager to offer guidance on service delivery and documentation, appropriately managing caseloads, and connecting with partner agencies
  • Research and schedule life skills training and wellness programs for youth participation 
  • Lead in collecting, tracking, and analyzing data in HMIS and through surveys and assessments for purposes of monitoring the program's quality effectiveness and grant compliance
  • Oversee the Atlas referral process, serve as the main point of contact for referring agencies, screen and interview potential clients, arrange for move-ins and client onboarding
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality for all clients
  • Serve as the liaison between the property owners/management company and Sisu - track leases, submit maintenance needs, and manage requests. 
  • Hire, train, lead, schedule, and coach Atlas staff to help each employee reach their full potential
  • Identify training gaps and arrange or conduct all necessary training
  • Coordinate food and furniture donations & deliveries to Atlas clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Sisu Leadership Team Functions: 

  • Ensure the Atlas program is providing a safe, clean, respectful, and professional environment for clients, staff, and volunteers
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policy, procedure, and processes that create equity and consistency in our programming
  • Represent Sisu to the community with professionalism and commitment to enhancing the organization’s community profile and participate in community meetings as assigned
  • Participate in the development of the departmental budget and adhere to the approved budget
  • Collaborate with the Sisu leadership team on organizational direction and growth, program development, and continuous quality improvements
  • Participate in the monthly after hours on-call rotation as the Crisis Advisor with other leadership team members, typically one week per month


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must take initiative and be able to work well independently and in a team environment 
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, databases, and other computer applications
  • Experience with HMIS and/or data reporting software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Able to work within deadlines and scheduled timelines
  • Must be highly organized, able to solve problems independently, and assist in conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of resources and willingness to research and learn new programs and initiatives
  • Ability to de-escalate and help clients and staff problem-solve
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt in an ever-growing and changing environment
  • ​Commitment to answer phones, texts, and emails each business day and respond in a timely manner
  • Able to manage billing for DMH grants under Medicaid and other contracts
  • Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality for all clients


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate stairs in office and apartment buildings
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift items over 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to use telephone, PC, copy machine, printer, and other office equipment
  • Ability to use washer, dryer, and other household equipment ie. mop, broom, etc.
  • Valid Driver’s License with clear driving history, auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Local travel will be required
  • Pass a state and federal criminal background check for grant compliance

Education/Experience: 

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Preferred majors include social work and counseling or equivalent experience - required for Case Management certification
  • Case management experience with youth or homeless populations required
  • Experience with youth, LGBTQ+, mental health, social services, or program administration preferred


Job Location: Hybrid - 85% in office/on location and 15% remote - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Position Type: Full-Time exempt (40 hours/week)

Scheduled Hours: Varied but aligned with typical business hours; includes some evenings and weekends.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000

Sisu receives federal, state, and local funding for program operations. All employees who are paid in full or in part with federal funds must keep specific documents to demonstrate the amount of time they spent on grant activities. (2 C.F.R. Part 200.430(i)(1)) In addition, employees who are paid from state and local funds but whose salaries are used for cost sharing or matching must also keep time and effort documentation. (§ 200.430(i)(4)) Charges to federal awards for salaries and wages must be based on records that accurately reflect the work performed.
