Injection Mold Technician III

Need someone to join our team that is looking for a long-term rewarding position with growth potential with a great company that is well established. Our need is an Injection mold maintenance / machinist needed for in house tooling support. A basic working knowledge of plastic injection molds is required. M-F 1st shift, no weekends.

Essential skills:

·       Safety Conscious.

·       Thorough understanding of how to safely handle heavy mold plates.

·       Clean, neat and highly organized, keeps accurate records.

·       Use precision tools, micrometers, dial indicators & calipers.

·       Manual Lathe, Mill and Surface grinder experience.

·       Attention to detail.

·       Work with minimal supervision.

·       Use hand tools including files, rotary tools and polishing equipment.

·       Basic understanding of part and component drawings.

·       Basic computer skills, Word & Excell.

·       Order components, cutting tools, maintain tool shop inventory.

Addition skills desired but not required:

·       Bilingual English Spanish.

·       Knowledge of Hot Runner systems.

·       CNC G Code programming.

·       CNC Mill & Lathe setup experience.

·       Mastercam.

·       Solidworks.

·       Conceptualize & design custom jigs, fixtures, end of arm tools and mold components.

Duties:

·       Disassemble, clean, interchange cores, cavities, pins & reassemble injection molds.

·       Maintain a high level of organization of interchangeable insert and pins.

·       Communicate any damage or scheduling problems to upper management.

·       Machine mold and tool components.

·       Attend weekly Production meeting, report any tooling issues.

Compensation depending on experience. Monthly & Year end bonuses.
