DAY-TO-DAY OF AN ENTRY-LEVEL CONSTRUCTION / GENERAL LABORER

This general labor position typically works a full-time schedule of 10-12 hours per shift from Monday to Thursday or 8-10 hours per shift from Monday to Friday with some overtime as needed. This is a seasonal job with a typical 2-3 month layoff in the winter months depending on the weather.

As an Entry-Level Construction / General Laborer, you play an integral role in ensuring that our projects are completed in a proper, efficient, and safe manner. When working on a project, you use your knowledge of construction and maintenance techniques to maintain our high standards of quality. You also obtain, comprehend, and apply all applicable operator qualification standards when using company equipment and vehicles to complete your tasks.

By maintaining communication with other staff members, you relay all pertinent information they need to know, including any issues or concerns on the job site. You help to maintain a clean and safe work environment as well as report any occupational illnesses or injuries in a timely manner. REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL CONSTRUCTION / GENERAL LABORER

• Ability to pass operator qualifications tests for Northeast Gas Association
