Job Description

Warehouse Associate

Pay: 16.50 an hour

Hours: 7am-3:30pm- M-F

Location: University Park

Our client in University Park, IL is a fast-growing wholesale distribution company, is seeking an experienced warehouse staff to pick, pack, and ship items from our warehouse located in University Park, IL. Responsibilities Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality condition with the picking, packing, and preparing of orders for shipment.

What you will do

Comply with safety regulations and federal (OSHA) and state safety rules. Work within our warehouse management system for proper documentation of all shipments and received goods.
Maintain the integrity and condition of inventory and bin locations.
Resolve shipping issues and inventory discrepancies as needed.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment

What you need:

A successful candidate will have 1+ years’ experience in a warehouse knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies.
Order picking/shipping receiving.
-Manual- unloading, no RF scanners- matching item numbers to receivers.
-Reading BOLs
-must be able to stay on foot all day
Typical products- Apparel, windshield wipers, miscellaneous supply
