Responsibilities

  • Work closely with experienced electricians to learn and assist in various electrical tasks.
  • Assist in the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, switches, outlets, and fixtures, following electrical codes and blueprints.
  • Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, assisting in identifying and repairing problems in electrical systems.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and the team.
  • Assist in the handling, organizing, and inventory management of electrical materials and tools.
  • Gain proficiency in using a wide range of electrical tools and equipment under the guidance of experienced electricians.
  • Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to facilitate accurate installations.
  • Assist in installing and routing conduits and wiring systems for electrical circuits.
  • Assist in conducting tests and measurements on electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to electrical work, including work orders and service reports.
  • Familiarize yourself with local and national electrical codes and regulations, ensuring work is performed in compliance with these standards.
  • Attend training sessions and educational programs to further develop electrical knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed successfully and on time.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Be willing to adapt to a variety of work environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Assist in completing tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper use at all times.

Job requirements

  • Possession of a valid Electrical Apprentice License, indicating eligibility to work in electrical roles and a commitment to career development in the fieldpreferred
  • Ability to commute to various job sites, including providing your own reliable transportation
  • Willingness to undergo background checks as part of the employment process to ensure suitability for the role
  • Consent to drug testing as required, in compliance with company policies and safety regulations
  • This role is open to individuals at the entry-level of their electrical career, offering an opportunity to gain practical experience and skills
  • While not mandatory, having 1-2 years of prior experience in electrical work is desirable and may be considered an asset. However, we also welcome applicants with no prior experience who are eager to learn and grow in the field
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
