Business Development Administrator

Logplan is currently seeking a full-time, experienced business development administrator to join our team at Denver Tech Center, 5750 DTC Pkwy, Suite 180 Denver, CO 80111.

Job Purpose

The Business Development Administrator will provide administration and project support to locate new business opportunities and work in a team environment to generate technical responses and the work required to be responsive to our customers and potential customers.

The selected candidate will produce and maintain project and team documentation and co-ordinate project/tender monitoring and reporting. They will possess a high degree of effective organizational, administrative and IT skills with the ability to balance a wide variety of priorities.

Previous experience of managing tender portals, writing RFQ’s and, RFP’s, uploading tenders, and/or providing strategic support into projects is highly desirable.

A strong attention to detail and the ability to show initiative and autonomy will be required together with an ability to work under pressure in a variety of situations.

Job Accountabilities

New Project Opportunities:

  • Manage and operate bid/proposal information systems, and ensure the information is accurate and current.
  • Daily search of bidding services looking for opportunities
  • Research opportunities either identified by services or from leads from team members.
  • Research opportunities at airports nationwide.
  • Quantify opportunities and get approval to proceed.

Bid Support & Management:

  • Assist in the implementation and delivery of proposal strategies leading to successful responses, including market research and intelligence.
  • Manage and operate bid/proposal information systems, and the information is accurate and current.
  • Collaborate with other parts of the organization to ensure company information is relevant and up-to-date.
  • Ensuring that all proposal and project documentation such as project briefs are maintained to a high standard.
  • Manage our project reference database.
  • Following up actions from meetings with appropriate people as required
  • Oversee final production and delivery of proposals, pitches, and presentations.
  • Ensure submission deadlines are met and feedback collected on successful/unsuccessful proposals.

Business Development Support Activities:

  • Organizing activities at bid/project completion to include review and transfer of project information and knowledge, including dissemination any lessons learned.
  • Coordinate LinkedIn activities and social media posts/updates.
  • Assist in preparation and planning for industry conferences & shows.
  • Provide administrative support to Chief Executive Officer
  • Carry out specific admin and spreadsheet tasks in relation to project work, as directed by management.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Improving Internal Process & administration:

  • Leading or contributing to the development of improved internal systems and processes.
  • Managing and structuring new business folders
  • Organizing meetings and coordinating diaries with internal and external colleagues
  • Contributing and minute taking at Team Meetings
  • Drafting briefing papers, correspondence and other documentation for projects and the day to day running of a variety of functions as directed
