Tool & Die Maker/CNC MT

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To fabricate / repair tooling, gages, and machine components to support production.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components
• Program CNC machines using Autodesk Inventor Cam (HSM)
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in production
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure that production goals are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Journeyman card- Tool & Die or Technical Certificate and five (5) years' experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Programmer, or similar role
• Welding, Benching & polishing skills
• CNC programming skills Manual at the PLC, CAM using Autodesk Inventor Cam (HSM), and Conversational
• Experience in mold/tool repair and assembly
• Working knowledge of mold / tool design
• Physically capable of lifting and manipulating heavy objects
• Experience with CNC mill centers, CNC mill set up, 3-axis machines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
