Our Client is a small, debt-free company that is a well-established brand in the automotive and other manufacturing industries. Product lines include double sheet detectors, weld seam detectors, and tire steel cord inspection systems. Company products are imported from our Germany manufacturing center and sold to our North American automotive manufacturers and their suppliers. Our client also offers services to customers in case of commissioning and fault isolation. With a focus on quality and reliability, we provide specialized products that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technical Sales and Service Technician to support our sales and customer service operations. This role will involve providing technical support to customers, assisting with sales inquiries, and managing customer relationships. The successful candidate will have a technical background, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide technical support and explanations to customers regarding our specialized products and processes.
• Sales Support: Assist with sales inquiries, provide product information, and support the sales team in achieving targets.
• Customer Service: Handle customer interactions, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Training: Undergo extensive training on company products and processes to become proficient in providing technical explanations and support.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks related to sales and customer service operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in electromechanical or electronics OR equivalent experience.
• Technical understanding of specialized products and processes.
• Sales and customer service experience, preferably in a technical environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (2-3 days every 2-3 months) to locations such as the US, Mexico, Canada, or Germany(once a year or every other year).
