About the Company

Our client is an established tire and service company serving commercial fleets, trucking, construction, agricultural, and industrial customers. The company provides commercial tire sales, fleet services, mobile tire service, and roadside assistance.


Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Tire Sales Representative to develop and grow commercial accounts in the Dubuque market.

This role will focus on outside sales, new business development, customer relationship management, and providing commercial customers with the right tire products and services for their fleets and equipment.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain commercial, trucking, wholesale, and other business accounts.
  • Conduct sales presentations and regular customer visits.
  • Cold call and identify new business opportunities.
  • Grow existing accounts and secure new customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account history.
  • Provide product and technical assistance to customers.
  • Coordinate product deliveries and pickups as needed.
  • Manage customer invoicing, credits, and account setup.
  • Collect timely and past-due payments.
  • Monitor customer needs, industry trends, and competitive activity.
  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports for management.
  • Maintain current knowledge of commercial tire products, promotions, and industry developments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Complete required company training and follow all company policies and regulations.




RequirementsQualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history.
  • Ability to pull a trailer as needed.
  • 3+ years of experience with proven knowledge of tires, particularly heavy-duty commercial tires.
  • Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Strong connections within the tire industry are a plus.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based sales environment.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Tire shop and customer-facing environment.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
