Position Overview: As a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy equipment, including skid steers, dozers, and telehandlers. The ideal candidate will possess a career-oriented mindset, strong technical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

Consult equipment operating/parts manuals, blueprints, and drawings to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.

Perform scheduled maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of machines, to ensure optimal performance.

Identify and repair defective or worn parts, such as bearings, shafts, seals, and hoses.

Overhaul and test major components, such as engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair 12V electrical systems.

Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment components, such as cylinders and linkages, with precision.

Travel to worksites to perform repairs and maintenance on large equipment.

Maintain accurate logs of equipment inspections and work performed.

Possess a valid driver’s license and operate a service truck daily.

Provide a complete set of mechanics tools to be used daily.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics, including hydraulic and electrical systems.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting equipment manuals, blueprints, and drawings.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues.

Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Willingness to travel to worksites and work flexible hours as needed.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
