Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking two individuals to join our team as Coaters for our second shift, with day shift training provided. The successful candidates will be responsible for various coating applications, including but not limited to Xylan, epoxy, air dry systems, and powder coatings. Additionally, the role involves interpreting drawings for coating applications, masking parts, operating overhead cranes for phosphate tank operations, and performing general shipping and receiving duties.
 

Responsibilities:
Apply various coating applications as per job requirements.
Interpret drawings for coating applications accurately.
Mask parts effectively for coating processes.
Operate overhead cranes for phosphate tank operations.
Perform general shipping and receiving duties.
Operate forklifts and lifting devices for movement of parts.
Maintain clear communication with supervisors, production control, quality, and other shop personnel.
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of equipment and work area.
Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
Adhere to state and federal laws, Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies, and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
Be adaptable to a changing work environment and handle competing demands effectively.
Willingness to work weekends as required.
Possess basic math skills for material fabrication calculations.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
Follow written and oral instructions meticulously.

Requirements:
Experience with coating applications, including Xylan, epoxy, air dry systems, and powder coatings, preferred.
Proficiency in interpreting drawings for coating applications.
Prior experience with overhead crane operations.
Forklift certification preferred.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
Good vision abilities, including near vision, far vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must possess steel toe shoes.
Must pass respiratory fit test.
