Job Description

Projects throughout Texas. Travel required depending on project locations.

Responsibilities:

Install Steel Doors and Hardware (Detention Grade)
Install Steel Detention Furniture and Ceilings
Welding / Metal Working Experience Preferred (not required)
Install Security Glazing and Caulking
Clean up job site trash and debris
Actively participate in the company's and job specific safety programs
Recognize safety hazards and report to supervisor
Comply with company and project policies and guidelines

Working Conditions:

Travel required to jobsites. Per Diem and travel cost paid for overnight travel.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch, occasionally working in such positions for an extended period of time
Ability to climb and descend stairs, ladders and scaffolds
Ability to coordinate eyes, hands, feet, and limbs in the operation of equipment, machinery, and tools
Ability to continuously lift objects and materials weighing 1-20 lbs, frequently 20-50 lbs, and occasionally 50 lbs or more
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time occasionally over rough terrain

Company Description

Specialty contractor installing security related work in Texas. S3 installs detention grade doors, hardware, furniture, security glazing and security steel ceilings as well as security electronics systems including door control, audio, video management, access control and HMI control stations. Work on new construction projects, renovations and servicing existing systems.
