Project Naval Architect (3977)

Our client, a stable and growing specialty marine services company is seeking an experienced project manager or naval architect to help them with their growing portfolio of new construction and existing vessel modification projects. Keys for success include:

• Bachelors in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or other related engineering degree
• 5+ years' experience in design, construction, repair and operation of marine vessels
• Vessel Classification and regulatory exp. in marine industry is essential
• AutoCad functional Capability
• 3D Structural Design software exp. such as RISA 3D, Solidworks, Inventor or similar
• GHS or equivalent stability modeling/design software highly desired
• Additional experience in hydrodynamic software, i.e. MOSES, WAMIT or similar
• FEA and CFD is preferred
• Ability to occassionaly travel to shipyards or ride vessels to personally inspect vessels
• Current TWIC card or ability to obtain
