Bartender

Position Overview The Bartender should have excellent communication skills to serve classic cocktails and recommend exciting new beverages. The Bartender will also greet customers, answer questions and learn about the customers' preferences to ensure a wonderful dining experience. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Complete closing duties. including storing all reusable goods. breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas. returning equipment to proper locations. locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors. completing daily cleaning checklist. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently (and in a team). Work Conditions & Physical Demands Work is performed indoors and outdoors in a commercial setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, people, and equipment. Able to work independently or as a team member and support managers with special projects. Strong collaboration skills – works well across functional areas—excellent relationship-building skills; able to collaborate with various levels of the organization.
