Commercial HVAC Installer - Technician

We are looking for energetic, experienced Commercial Service and Installation Technicians for our North Denver location. HVAC Service Technicians/Installers will be required to work with numerous manufacturers of equipment, systems parts and mechanisms, to maintain, diagnose and correct HVAC system problems. This includes replacing parts and adjusting system controls for better performance by using special tools and diagnostic equipment.

Job Duties:

• Provides repairs and preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoots units that are not working and replaces parts that are defective.
• Performs related work as assigned.
• Installs refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, pneumatic control, and humidity control systems.
• Climbing ladders, carrying, lifting, hoisting tools and equipment up to 50- 75 lbs at times.

Understanding and troubleshooting knowledge of the following:

• Rooftop Units
• Air Handling Units
• Hydronic heating and cooling systems
• Cooling Towers
• VAV Boxes
• Variable Frequency Drives
• Boilers
• Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations.

Typical daily assignments:

• Additional Skills Desired:
• Trade school education is preferred.
• Journeyman license preferred but not required.
• Chiller experience helpful.

Commercial HVAC Service Technicians-
Climbing ladders, carrying, lifting, hoisting tools and equipment up to 50- 75 lbs at times.
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of Commercial HVAC Equipment and or components in a timely manner.
Read, interpret and understand electrical drawings / schematics.
Have the ability to clearly and accurately describe and document services that are either recommended, required or performed
Maintain a professional appearance and be well spoken, punctual and respectful to customers and fellow employees.
Work in conjunction with associated contractors such as General, Mechanical, Test and Balance, and Electrical to deliver a complete and quality finished project
Experience and knowledge of hydronic systems and pneumatic controls preferred
