Senior Accountant

We are seeking a versatile and dynamic Senior Accountant to fill a newly created role within a mid-sized radiology company operating in over 20 states and 100 locations across the country. The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller and supports the accounting functions across all entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing receivable and payable transactions, basic cash handling, tracking fixed assets including Capex approvals and reimbursement invoicing
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Handling sensitive and confidential information, necessitating adherence to compliance standards within the healthcare industry.
• Recording accounting transactions and supporting month-end close process.
• Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Conducting general ledger accounting tasks such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• Ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy in monthly close process.
• Maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
• Upholding Company Mission, Motto, and Vision in daily business operations.
• Staying informed about Company Policy and Procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Practical understanding of US GAAP.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and/or mid-size accounting software (Sage, NetSuite, etc.)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
