Job Description

Do you have experience working on RV’S or trailers? Well, we may have the job for you!

A local truck and trailer shop is looking for a Service Advisor/Trailer Tech to lead their team of technicians! The ideal candidate will have the ability to diagnose issues on aluminum horse trailers, suggest repairs, and handle customer inquiries daily.

Responsibilities:

Perform inspection and repairs
Communicate with customers in an informed and respectful manner
Keep work area clean and safe
Maintain a set of tools acceptable for the trade
Track parts needed to complete each job
Complete repairs in a timely manner
Coordinate job workflow to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Perform quality checks on all work completed by technicians to maintain high standards.
Communicate effectively with office staff to ensure service tickets are complete and accurate.
Contact customers to inform them of any adjustments to quoted services or timelines.
Assign work orders to technicians based on their skills and availability.
Order parts needed to complete jobs and maintain inventory levels.
Write up estimates for repair work and communicate them to customers.
Possess strong customer service skills to handle inquiries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Must have Valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
Come to work with a good attitude
Able to learn and follow instruction
Have respect for other teammates
Produce work that meets or exceeds quality standards

Desired Experience:

AC and DC electrical systems
RV Propane Systems
RV appliance knowledge
Carpentry
Body Repair
Brake and Axle diagnosis and repair
Hydraulic slide out and Jack systems

Schedule:

40 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Occasional Saturday work may be required

Pay Rate:

Depending on experience
$25-$35 Per Hour
