Pool League Player Liaison

Shaffer Entertainment is hiring for a Part-time Pool Player Liaison in Dayton. This role is the central point of contact for league pool players. You will act in accordance with the Shaffer Entertainment Core Values while facilitating solutions to questions and concerns that players may have. In addition to running the week-to-week leagues, you will also run tournaments. This is a part-time role expected to work 18-20 hours per week primarily nights and weekends. This role offers commission opportunity and a cell-phone allowance.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support to players in the form of questions, comments, concerns, advisement on the league rules and remedy any confusion or issues that arise.
• Help make decisions about the future of running leagues, tournaments, events, promotions, etc.
• Run tournaments on-location at customer bars
• Help run state and regional tournaments
• Help the sales team find new bars, players and create new teams.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old (some of our customers have age restricted entry)
• Comfortable working inside bars/taverns
• Knowledge of pool rules, formats, leagues, and tournaments
• Previous experience running leagues, playing in leagues or coaching is preferred
• Computer savvy, preferred
• Successful candidate must be organized and responsible
• Excellent Customer Service/customer interaction skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history
• Ability to pass a background check including criminal and driving histories.
