Job Description
Salary: $80-90 an hour
Acts as assistant to clinic Medical Director or Physician physician for all clients at CFTC
- Completes initial drug and physical health history and physical examination for all new admissions; annual assessments, as required, on long-term clients; and determines client’s appropriateness for admission
- Titrates initial methadone dosages and stabilizes client on methadone
- Approves or disapproves all take-home requests and all client phase changes
- Reviews each client’s treatment plan annually or as needed
- Remains available on-call 24 hours per day
- May consult with counselors in All-Staff meetings and as otherwise needed
- Provides day to day medical management of the program under supervision of Medical Director
Leadership Responsibilities
- Consults with Medical Director in programmatic or operational concerns
- Participates in defining the qualifications of medical personnel to provide medical services
