The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory. Ensure accurate inventory by counting, processing transfers, and implementing inventory control procedures as well as corrective actions to minimize inventory shrinkage and optimize accuracy.

What You Do
- Maintains all product bin locations along with inventory at both Alabama locations
- Performs daily adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and perform cycle counts
- Performs regular and quarterly analysis of all inventory
- Assists during bank inventory audits and annual warehouse inventory
- Assist Distribution Associates locate product when needed
- Always follow all safety rules and regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports
- Analyze root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One to two years of progressive experience in distribution/supply chain environment preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds and squat, sit, stand, walk, and reach daily
- Forklift certification required
- Experience using equipment including but not limited to hand truck, order picker, pallet jack, and electric jack required
- Excellent punctuality and good written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability with analytical thinking and problem-solving, in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with desktop and software including, Microsoft Outlook and Excel required
