Auditor

POSITION SUMMARY

The auditor is a role that ensures that card product security measures are adhered to in accordance with PCI Requirements and best practices. They are responsible to verify the accurate audit of each job is completed. This position coincides with quality management and security procedures in the manufacturing environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• To work with production personnel and management to maintain compliance with card counts, using systems in place.
• To work with security personnel to ensure that standards and policies of security and integrity in Audit process are followed.
• Maintain that all audit procedures are performed under dual control.
• Work with inventory management system to ensure that cards produced reconcile with materials allocated.
• Maintain audit control logs to ensure that the material, including waste, used in the manufacture of card products matches the amount of material indicated in the inventory control logs. The audit trail documentation must be kept for a minimum of 24 months.
• Assist production processes to effectively move card product to fulfillment with efficiency and accuracy.
• Investigate any discrepancies that may occur in card counts during the manufacturing process.
• Halt production processes if/when card(s) become missing to rectify the situation.
• Documentation of any problem that arises, informing Management of situation and action plan, resolution.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively with management and peers.
• Excellent project and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Sound knowledge in accounting and mathematics.
• Be reliable and trustworthy, and act with authority.
• Well versed in card designs and specifications.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or higher education required.
• 2-5 years’ experience with audit, accounting and quality measurement in manufacturing environment.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
• The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
