The Dallas/Carrollton Branch is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work in the Dallas area. Summary Prepares items for shipment. Coordinates the shipping and receiving of parts, materials, and other items on required schedule by performing the following duties:

Morning Shift 7:30am-3pm; Monday- Friday

Job Overview:

Shipping and Receiving Clerk associates will work under the supervision of the department head or the setup person and perform the following functions:

Determines method of shipment by following customer instructions or determining best method if not specified. Coordinates time schedules for shipping. Insures product is properly packed and ready by pick up time
Selects appropriate carton for packaging. Assembles containers or selects preassembled containers
Fills container with correct amount of product according to weight and count. Packs items to be shipped. Seals and weighs containers. Generates and affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. May have to generate bar code label for certain clients.
Ships and receives to outside processes. Inputs into Job Boss and generates Purchase Order. May pick up and/or deliver product to/from the outside vendor
