Staff Accountant

As a member of the accounting team, the staff accountant contributes directly to the company’s success by ensuring that financial information is recorded timely and accurately to allow management to assess the company’s success.

Staff Accountant Job duties:

Accounts Receivable:

• Prepare Sales and Rental Invoices.
• Apply incoming payments to appropriate accounts.
• Other Job Duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in basic tax principles, including understanding tax regulations, compliance requirements, and tax reporting.

Accounts Payable:

• Daily A/P invoice entry.
• Process vendor payments.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in basic tax principles, including understanding tax regulations, compliance requirements, and tax reporting.

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:

• 2+ years of accounting experience or a degree in business.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations to management.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
