Job Description

The Sales Account Executive focuses on the process of finding new business prospects and new markets. Their job duties include identifying new potential markets for selling geospatial derivatives and services, developing new revenue streams, and developing lists of potential prospects.  This position compiles key information that TrueNet management needs to make critical business development decisions. (This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)
 
Essential Position Functions:
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities to sell ancillary professional services to existing customers based on gap(s) in their current processes.
  • Identify and target potential clients outside the telecom industry who could benefit from TrueNet’s Digital Twin service offering, specifically their 3D capture systems (mobile & drone).
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends in commercial markets that could benefit from a Digital Twin service offering.
  • Manage new market sales opportunities, contacts, forecast, and details in corporate CRM system. Inventory and track of all quotes and RFP response that TrueNet produces.
  • Initiate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies. Conduct follow-up calls on all accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the engineering operations team to create and define project objectives, including the scope of work (SOW) and project pricing estimates for the customer’s review.
  • Attend industry events including conferences and trade shows to network and generate new business leads.
  • Represent TrueNet Communications in a positive and professional manner.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the unique features and advantages of our 3D capture, data visualization, and analysis solutions.
  • Conduct live demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of mobile LiDAR and drone mapping to support 3D feature extraction supporting engineering design and other applications.
  • Assist marketing team in developing marketing collateral (ex. hardcopy literature, digital products, and social media content) required to promote TrueNet’s digital twin and data collection areas of business.
  • Support contract pricing negotiations, addressing client concerns, and working towards successful deal closures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and project deliverables.
  • Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Cable TV and Telecom engineering industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Qualified candidates must possess strong technical sales experience, a geospatial background, and working knowledge of 3D reality capture tools, specifically LiDAR, photogrammetry, and thermal technologies.
  • This role is critical in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and markets, with a focus on leveraging advanced technologies to drive project efficiencies and shorten project timelines.
  • Must have superior communication and organizational skills with customer service experience.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must possess the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from intermediate levels within an organization.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and a sensitivity to understand customer needs and business issues.
  • Must possess the ability to interpret a variety of instructions delivered in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must be able to work independently and without direct supervision.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
