Tax Manager

SimpleFunTax D.B.A. Lion Rex-ATA, Inc. is a certified public accounting firm founded in 1992. With the recent merge of the two firm, we have experienced exponential amount of growth.

We are seeking a full-time Tax Manager to accommodate our growing firm. The Tax Manager will oversee all tax compliance and planning procedures for our clients. Managing a team of 5 tax professional. He or she will work directly with staff members in assisting with various tax questions and advise them to satisfy our clients’ needs. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate clear understanding of US domestic state tax, International tax matters and real estate tax.

Responsibilities:

Research complex tax questions and issues.

Review and manage a wide range of individual, business, trust, and not-for-profit tax
returns.

Provide year-end services and tax planning strategies to clients.

Manage, mentor, and coach team members in tax rules and regulations.

Consult with clients on tax related issues.

Review tax returns and other various financial documents.

Stay up to date on current trends, issues, and changes in tax law.

Qualifications:

5 years accounting experience (Preferred).

Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent (Preferred).

Strong management and interpersonal skills.

Excellent work ethic and outstanding character.

Ability to research and resolve letters and notices from various government agencies.

Excellent tax preparation and review skills.

Ability to communicate in Chinese (preferred, not required).
