Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our finance team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing business and individual tax returns while communicating directly with the clients. This role requires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as strong analytical and leadership skills.

We are also seeking a dynamic and experienced Audit Partner to join our team and lead our audit practice. The Audit Partner will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing audit engagements, and providing strategic guidance to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality audit services, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of business and individual tax returns.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to help clients minimize tax liabilities.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.
• Conduct research and analysis on complex tax issues and provide guidance.
• Coordinate with partners as needed.
• Review tax returns.
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles.

Audit Leadership and Oversight for Audit Partner:

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports prepared by engagement teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide technical guidance and support to audit team members, fostering their professional development and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on tax.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including experience with federal, state, and local taxes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex tax issues.
• Proven leadership and management abilities, with experience leading and developing a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and staff.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Audit Partner Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit services.
• Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and leading audit engagements.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a drive for business growth.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
