OVERALL ROLE:
The machine operator position is responsible for the operation of the Plastic Injection Molding Machines.

OVERALL ROLE:
The machine operator position is responsible for the operation of the Plastic Injection Molding Machines.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Inspect products for conformance to specified standards and communicate with Quality Control concerning nonconforming product
- Package product per established methods
- Know the quality requirements of each job assigned
- Understand the basic workings and safety features of equipment and machinery being used
- Maintain cleanliness in work area
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned
- Assist in the training of other personnel as needed
- Perform other duties as required
- Reading, writing, and speaking English
- Basic computer skills
- Good manual dexterity
- Good eyesight (corrective lenses are acceptable)
- Able to follow instructions, written and verbal
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and their uses
- Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment
- Capable of training others as needed
- Physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting
- Able to regularly lift and/or move 55 lbs.
