Job Purpose

Industry leading biotechnology manufacturer is actively seeking an enthusiastic entry level Laboratory & Inventory Technician generalist for a processing laboratory. We encourage candidates who are passionate about working in a lab setting environment to apply.

Duties and responsibilities

· Process incoming shipments of biological materials with accuracy.

· Conduct routine lab analyses and tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products following established protocols.

· Prepare and support the formulation of biological materials while adhering to safety protocols.

· Organize biological materials in freezers and refrigerators for easy access by team members.

· Pick, pack, and label outgoing packages according to DOT/IATA specifications and shipping requirements.

· Package secured biological materials using dry ice or cold packs.

· Stock supplies and packages in the department.

· Strictly follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean environment.

· Record data and results accurately in specified forms (paper and electronic).

· Prepare samples by filtering and aliquoting material, and process orders according to SOPs.

· Assist with general laboratory upkeep, including equipment maintenance and inventory management.

Other duties may include:

· Performing data and record keeping.

· Completing monthly safety equipment checklist.

· Able to show some flexibility in working hours when needed.

· Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.

· Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's Degree in science preferred.

· You are comfortable working with biological materials.

· You are a team player. You take your work very seriously, but not always yourself.

· You are dedicated and reliable, high energy, and a self-starter.
