Anax Power (www.anaxpower.com) generates clean power from natural gas, without combustion. The technology is called a turboexpander generator, and it uses the pressure and flow of gas moving through pipelines to spin a turbine and generate clean power. The 500kW Anax Turboexpander (ATE-500) is the first turboexpander specifically designed for natural gas pipelines represents an enormous opportunity to make natural gas pipelines more efficient. What You Will Be Responsible for While in This Position:

The Supply Chain Manager will supervise the day-to-day activities in commodity and non-product purchasing, inventory management and shipping logistics while building relationships and second source strategies for Anax’s Tier One suppliers. The position is also responsible for the implementation of lean manufacturing principles as it applies to delivery and kitting of material to the build stations as they are defined on the assembly floor.

This position will be an important partner of the business management team and will be expected to work with engineering to specify new designs and also drive cost reduction via value engineering within the supply base. While representing Anax in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers, the Manager will Purchases machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, or services necessary for operations including directing and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in buying parts and/or supplies, managing that inventory, and shipping logistics of finished products.

We Seek a Candidate with the Following Background:

Knowledge and Abilities:

The successful candidate will possess a minimum: 5 years’ experience in supply chain management in Prefer experience in manufacturing of heavy equipment environment or related industries. A track record of a high level of strong problem-solving skills with comprehensive abilities in financial management. The successful candidate will possess strong management, delegation and leadership skills with the ability to influence and partner within high level of organization. The ability to multi-task in order to meet deadlines with the use of all Microsoft office programs and ERP/MRP systems; experience with logistics programs to include shipping/receiving nationally and internationally. A holder of a Bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain management is a preference.
