Environmental Air Monitoring Technician — San Antonio/Austin/San Marcos/Corpus Christi, TX
TTL is seeking an Environmental Air Monitoring Technician to join our team based in San Antonio, TX. In this position, you will play a vital role monitoring the air during asbestos-related work projects. You will be taking samples and performing tests, while also adhering to all health and safety guidelines. This position will require traveling to job sites, and the distance can vary depending on the project.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site project management and overseeing contractors during asbestos abatement projects
- Analyze asbestos PCM air samples
- Conduct asbestos and/or hazardous material surveys
- Follow all health and safety plans
Requirements
- TX licensed Asbestos Project Manager
- TX licensed Asbestos Air Monitoring Technician
- TX licensed Asbestos Inspector
- TX licensed Mold Assessment Consultant, preferred
- NIOSH 582 Microscopist
- Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Willing to travel and stay out of town frequently (>50% travel)
- Perform heavy lifting up to 50+lbs and ability to work in seasonal conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.)
