Job Description

Accounting Specialist

A local security services company is looking to add to their accounting team!

What we look for:

1 year Accounts Payable/Receivable experience
Ability to consistently project professionalism, friendly demeanor and quality customer service to customers, peers and management
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Proficiency in Quickbooks and Excel

Specific Tasks:

Compilation and upkeep of documents, including scanning, for processing and filing for accounting, sales and purchasing – both electronic and physical records
Manage spreadsheets, process variety of reports
Create and process debit and credit memos
Invoice posting and assignment of account numbers
Posting of manual checks into AP system
Conducting check run for invoice payments
Managing communication with vendors regarding billing questions and discrepancies
Processing return of goods transactions
