Schedule: Day Shift 7AM - 4PM Monday - Friday

Location: Altamonte Springs, Florida

Requirements

As a Driver at Kalos Services, you will be responsible for safely transporting construction materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites in Altamonte Springs, FL and the surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating company vehicles, including trucks, vans, and trailers, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Transporting construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites, ensuring timely delivery and efficient logistics support.
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment from vehicles, using proper lifting and securing techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of job sites, including placing traffic cones, signage, and barriers as needed.
• Providing support to construction crews and personnel on-site, as directed by the supervisor or project manager.
• Following all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain safe driving practices at all times.
• Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and lights, to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members to coordinate transportation activities and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Previous experience as a construction driver or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials and equipment handling procedures.
• Familiarity with Altamonte Springs, FL and the surrounding areas.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
