Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems Analyst to join our growing Customer Success organization at Bridgeway Benefit Technologies. As a Systems Analyst working on our Regulatory & Specialized Programs team, you will work closely with all divisions within Bridgeway, as well as our customers and trading partners to architect, design and deploy solutions. You will be responsible for producing the files required to e-file multiple tax forms, performing data imports and reconciliation, resolving customer issues, and serving as the subject-matter expert for our Regulatory solutions and Year-End consulting services. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to get in touch with your creative side, as we continue to shape and refine our processes for one of Bridgeway's biggest revenue-generating consulting services.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for proactively monitoring and staying informed on federal, state and other regulatory compliance which affects our customers and how we service and solution them. To include monitoring regulatory agency websites, follow regulatory agencies on social media, subscribe to blogs & newsletters, build relationships with regulators, join industry associations, and attend conferences.
  • Under the guidance of the Sr. Director collaborate with various teams (PSO, Engineering, Sales, Finance) to architect solutions to address regulatory changes, create requirements, develop implementation approach, pricing, statements of work, and communication strategy.
  • Develop and facilitate webinars to provide customers with information that impacts their operations and how Bridgeway solutions will assist them with meeting new requirements.
  • Track, update, and monitor activities related to Year-End eFiling and tax form printing services for Bridgeway customers.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of applicable taxing authorities (IRS, State, and Local Governments) and client-specified procedures to meet the Year-End tax reporting responsibilities.
  • Build domain expertise and resolve client issues, while serving as the subject-matter-expert for Specialized Solutions, Regulatory, and Year-End consulting services.
  • Develop re-usable documentation and training material and lead training sessions.
  • Assist in defining and translating technical business needs into clearly defined and detailed requirements; define user-focused specifications.
  • Work directly with customers to test, troubleshoot, configure, and train on our programs and solutions.
  • Capture document workflow processes from initial design to final delivery.
  • Conduct usability tests to validate UI design and identify and resolve usability issues before product release.
  • Ensure products, applications, and systems align with established quality standards and meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in functional testing of new development /releases.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of our solutions and complete inclusive training program to become a subject matter expert.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by generating new and innovative ideas for ongoing enhancements to our consulting services.
  • Work with Sr Director to evaluate potential vendor partners to evaluate their solutions and how they integrate with the Bridgeway software. Complete analysis to identify those that are best suited to meet our customer's business needs. For Year-End tax vendors, work with Sr. Director and Legal in creating vendor agreements and preferred pricing. For other vendors, make recommendations with Sr Director and collaborate with VP of Partnerships to create vendor agreements and pricing.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as an analyst, where you demonstrated strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience testing and configuring technical products and software, preferred
  • Experience in report and document development, including knowledge of data sources and database systems
  • Knowledge of Tax Information Reporting and Affordable Care Act filing, preferred
  • Ability to work with clients at all organizational levels with a high degree of professionalism and business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities, prioritization skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
