Job Description

Summary

​The purpose of the Field Service Technician job family is to support the technical needs of Client's customers, providing maintenance and installation to HealthTech products & services, maximizing customer satisfaction by seeking opportunities to support our customers further and deliver value. This family is technical in nature, with strong customer focus, and works collaboratively with the wider organization to provide exceptional service to our customers. Technical capabilities range from product malfunctions, proactive, predictive, upgrades, Bench Repair and installations, and can be provided at customer location/bench repair facility or remotely or via accessing Client's Remote Service channels.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. ​Performs, as an engineering assistant, non-repetitive assignments, and decides on the method and sequence of work.

  2. Operates relatively autonomous within ​procedures, methods and techniques.

  3. Information on assignments is not always complete and leaves some scope for own interpretation; makes own choice of approach and chooses from known solutions based upon technical knowledge.

  4. The existing procedures give direction on critical points and indicate a processing sequence.

  5. Design and document minor electronics and cable assemblies.

  6. Utilize various electronic test equipment, such as meters, oscilloscopes and power supplies.

  7. Perform minor soldering and electronic repair.

  8. Troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies to the component level

  9. .Develop and document test processes for electronic equipment.​

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-5 years professional experience.

  • Education: Associates/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent unless otherwise specified.

  • Integrating system parts and putting them into service as a functioning system in accordance with the specifications.

  • Analyzing and interpreting mechanical, optical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and software test results and identifying and remedying failures.

  • Operationally testing the function of a product or product equipment.
