Snelling is currently recruiting for a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk with Insurance Experience for a Healthcare provider in the Birmingham, AL area! We are looking for upbeat and energetic individuals who want to join one of the most caring teams in Birmingham!

Pay for Insurance Accounts Receivable Clerk: $18.00-22.00/hr, DOE

Responsibilities of Insurance Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
• Posting insurance payments
• Billing and collections
• Obtain necessary authorizations and referrals for procedures
• Coordinate with insurance companies to ensure accurate billing and claims processing
• Review and update patient insurance information in the system
• Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide explanations of benefits

Requirements for Insurance Accounts Receivable Clerk:

• 3+ years experience working in a dental or medical office setting dealing with Accounts Receivable and Insurance verifications
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in using office software and electronic health record systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
•  Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
