Service Technician

Who we are and what we do-

We are regional distributors for meat room equipment and supplies. We perform repairs for our existing customers. We’ve been doing this for over 25 years and have gotten pretty good at it. We are a growing company

What you need to bring to the table-

You need to be willing to work, able to learn, and hungry to grow. You will also need a clean driving record. We will be supplying you with a vehicle (which we provide the fuel and maintenance for), so we won’t bring anyone on board that drives too fast or too crazy. You will need to pass a drug test, we don’t have time for scrubs. We will be doing a background check on you, so if you have some static in your past you better let us know right up front.

What you DON”T need to have-

Experience with our field. What we do is a pretty niche market, we understand that not a lot of folks will have familiarity with the equipment. We are willing to train you to do it our way, the right way. Best of all we will pay during training. Once you’re trained and working on your own (yes, you will often be working on your own- don’t panic, experienced help and resources are just a phone call away) you will take part in our performance bonus. We believe that our success is your success and compensate based on that belief. Experience as service tech, route sales, or even a meat cutter is a plus.

What you need to know going in-

You will get dirty. We are working on meat room equipment, often covered with blood and meat goop. We are changing bearing and installing parts that will be dirt, oil or grease covered. If you are not okay with getting in there and getting your hands dirty this is not the job for you. Most nights Monday through Friday will be spent away from home. We go to where the work requires and that may mean that it doesn’t make sense to drive back to your home. We do pay for your room, dinner, and if the hotel doesn’t supply it, breakfast in the morning on days that you do not make it home.

What we offer-

We offer insurance coverage and even pay for our employee’s portion. Spouse and family coverage is available, but you’ll have to pay that. We have a 401k with match. These are full time, Monday-Friday positions, although we occasionally have to respond to customer emergencies over the weekend. We have standard holidays off. One last perk – we buy you lunch everyday, we want to make you have the energy to get it done.

What the future holds-

While no one can say with certainty what will happen, we have grown year over year and intend to continue to do so. This means advancement is very possible, but that of course will have a lot to do with how you perform. It is possible that you could be making a six figure income with us.
