Job description

Supply Chain Technician

Public Trust clearance will be required.

The Supply Chain Technician will support and optimize supply chain operations. This role will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data, identifying efficiency improvements, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and driving cost-saving initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, data analytics, and process optimization.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Hourly Range for Supply Chain Technician: $25hr-$26hrย 

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.ย  Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Supply Chain Technician Responsibilities Include:ย 

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain supply chain models to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize procurement strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency, cost savings, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and operations to drive supply chain excellence.
  • Assess supplier performance and negotiate contracts to enhance supply chain resilience.
  • Utilize data visualization tools and software to present findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Support strategic initiatives related to warehouse operations, transportation, and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards related to supply chain operations.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or other methodologies.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain analysis, inventory management, or logistics roles.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, procurement best practices, and logistics operations.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Costpoint.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
